Barta scored a goal and assisted on another to swing a scoreless halftime tie to a 2-0 victory.

BaseballRobert Dromerhauser, Naples – The Wildcats blanked Sigonella 10-0 on Saturday, and Dromerhauser led the way on the mound and at the plate. He struck out nine over five scoreless innings and notched three hits with the stick.Jon Oswald, Ramstein – The junior pitcher secured a Royal sweep of archrival Patch with a quality effort in Saturday’s nightcap. Oswald struck out six over six innings in a 9-2 win.

SoftballElana Montanez, Vilseck – The Falcon ace was at her best on Saturday in a sweep of Wiesbaden. Montanez allowed just three total hits and one run over two complete-game, four-inning pitching efforts. Mackenzie Coleman, Patch – The defending champion Panthers are clawing their way back into title contention behind their new star. Coleman delivered a doubleheader split with rival Ramstein on Saturday by pitching a seven-inning two-hit shutout and driving in a pair of runs in a 10-0 win.

TrackWesley Donhauser, Kaiserslautern – The Raider strongman outmuscled a crowded field of rivals Saturday at Wiesbaden. Donhauser threw 40 feet, 4 inches in shot put and 133 feet, 6 inches in discus to sweep those events.Sinoda Emanuel, Ramstein – The Royals claimed a definitive team victory over the likes of Division I opponents Kaiserslautern, Wiesbaden and Patch in Saturday’s sprawling track meet. Emanuel did her part in the points race with wins in the 200-meter dash and the triple jump.
