STUTTGART, Germany -- The Stuttgart Panthers completed their wire-to-wire undefeated DODEA-Europe Division I football season Friday night with a 40-0 defeat of the visiting Wiesbaden Warriors.

Even with its No. 1 seed in the upcoming European semifinals already assured, the Panthers pounced immediately on their overmatched guests. Sabriel Ashley scored on a 16-yard run and again on a 38-yard reception from Alec Kenfield and Michael Self nailed a 45-yard field goal in the opening quarter. That flurry put Stuttgart up 19-0, and the rout proceeded from there.

Kenfield completed seven passes for 188 yards and three touchdowns. Ashley hauled in five passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns to pair with his early rushing touchdown, while Jacob Ratcliff made two catches for 72 yards and a touchdown. Trent Jackson led the Panthers on the ground with 103 yards on 10 carries.

Christian Just led the Panther defense with six tackles, while Josh Olive made five tackles and added a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Ahmir Johnson scored a defensive touchdown for Stuttgart with a 35-yard return of a recovered fumble.

Wiesbaden will miss the playoffs for the second straight season while Stuttgart, targeting a third Division I championship in a five-year stretch, will host a semifinal game Oct. 26.
