A confident Ramstein girls soccer team vanquished its fiercest rival Saturday with a convincing 2-0 shutout of Kaiserslautern.

Goals by Chantelle DuBois and Madison Spohr shattered a scoreless halftime tie. DuBois scored hers off a penalty kick, while Spohr collected an available ball in the box for a close-range score.

Hunter Pace headlined a Ramstein defense that kept the Red Raiders largely out of striking distance. The Royal platoon of goalkeepers, Addison Ptomey and Terri Leigh Obermiller, were tasked with saving just two Kaiserslautern shots apiece.

Busier Raider goalies Logan Slusher and Montana Stabb notched five saves each.

Heidelberg 0, Wiesbaden 0: At Wiesbaden, the Lions earned a draw against the rival Warriors.

The showcase of goalkeepers saw Heidelberg’s Erin Ort notch seven saves and Wiesbaden’s Rebecca Russell collect nine.

Patch 7, Hohenfels 1: At Stuttgart, the host Panthers built an insurmountable six-goal halftime lead to record the victory.

Tanner Boyle provided three of Patch’s goals, while Whitney Mannier, Kelsey Ortwein and Leana Sturn kicked in one apiece.

Hohenfels goalkeeper Chandler Telego minimized the damage with a six-save effort.

Ansbach 1, Vilseck 1: At Ansbach, Cassidy Fritts scored a timely second-half goal to stave off a Falcons loss.

Vilseck teammate Ashley Lebel kept the visitors in range with a stellar 12-save outing in goal. Ansbach’s Jasmine Rodriguez notched a first-half goal to put the Cougars in front early.

AOSR 3, Aviano 0:At Aviano, the visiting Falcons shut out their Region IV rival.

Rachel May notched a pair of goals and Melissa Hall another as AOSR cruised. Allison Cook made five saves to protect the Falcon advantage.

Goalkeeper Gabriella Guerrero made six saves for Aviano.

Sigonella 4, Florence 2:At Florence, Hannah Vosler scored twice and Halie Gasporra added a goal and an assist as the host Jaguars survived a clash with their in-country rivals.

Gabi Goergen added a goal and Symone Jones and Sammie McManus added an assist apiece for Signoella. Goalkeeper Rachel Vosler made six saves for the Jaguars.
