Division II power Naples got all it could handle from an in-country Division III opponent on Saturday before surviving with a 2-1 win over homestanding Sigonella.

Tied 1-1 at halftime, Naples needed a second-half goal from Davide DiCostanzo – his second of the game – to outlast a hungry Jaguars squad. Alex Rushing assisted on both occasions.

Sigonella, which ends its regular season at 0-5-1, got a goal from Patrick Gallagher off an assist from Antonio Garcia.

Wiesbaden 2, Black Forest Academy 0: Saturday at Kandern, Germany, the visiting Warriors blanked the host Falcons.

The tidy Wiesbaden shutout saw the Warriors score a goal in each half. Dhillon Tisdale and Ethan McNamara found the net, while Akeem Cranfield and John Arnold notched assists.

Steven Brown made 10 saves in goal for the Warriors; BFA counterpart Greer McCollum made four stops.

ISB 5, Alconbury 0: Friday at Brussels, Alessandro Pryce scored three goals as the Raiders rolled over a visiting Division III foe.

Walid Azzouzi and Stijn Kruidenier added goals for the defending Division I Europe champions.

AFNORTH 6, Menwith Hill 0: Friday at Brunssum, Netherlands, a rolling AFNORTH squad routed the visiting Mustangs.

Oguzhan Yabici and Claudius Karich each scored twice and Eren Yabici added a goal and an assist as the Lions built a five-goal halftime lead and cruised to victory.

AFNORTH 1, ISB 1: Saturday at Brunssum, Netherlands, the Lions threw a scare into the defending Division I champions before settling for their second tie of the season.

The teams played to a 1-1 deadlock by halftime, an evenly-matched struggle matched by a scoreless second half. Both teams remained unbeaten in an anticlimactic outcome of the anticipated showdown.

Casper DeBok scored for ISB, while Eren Yabici found the net for AFNORTH. Victor Black made 14 saves in the Lion goal.

Alconbury 5, Brussels 2: Saturday at Brussels, the Dragons used a second-half outburst to blow open a tight game.

Jeff Black and Alex McLouth scored twice and McLouth added an assist as the visitors quickly turned a 1-0 halftime lead into a walkover.

Imran Ahmic and Merab Chitanava scored for Brussels.

Ramstein 5, Baumholder 1: Saturday at Baumholder, the Royals handled the host Bucs.

Lorenzo Rodriguez notched a goal and two assists and Lee DeBose had a goal and an assist to headline a prolific offensive day for the Royals.
