BAUMHOLDER, Germany – The Bucs celebrated homecoming in rousing fashion on Saturday with a 33-0 shutout of Alconbury. Baumholder declared its intentions with a 14-point first-quarter outburst and tacked on a score in each of the remaining three quarters to cruise to its second straight win and third in four games this season. The Bucs found success via air and ground. Holden Giefer completed three passes for 95 yards and a touchdown and Isaiah Wilson connected on two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown. Receivers Isaak Giefer and Deven Smith hauled in the scores for Baumholder. Taylor Moore carried nine times for 57 yards and Kris Martinez drew four carries for 23 yards and a first-quarter score. Isaak Giefer led the Buc defense with 10 tackles and two sacks, while Nobleman Soule also had 10 tackles. Kamryn Wilson forced and recovered a fumble, while Tristan Maddox also recovered a fumble. Ausrten Van Doren picked off two Alconbury passes, while Josh Barreto-Castro, Smith and Terence Wilson each had one interception. Alconbury leaders included Kevin Beasley (55 passing yards), Pavel Kasmershin (65 receiving yards) and Zane Leach (14 tackles, four assists). Hudson Topping, Wes Reddecliffe and James Wood each nabbed an interception. Baumholder gets a shot at currently-unbeaten SHAPE on Oct. 12, its last game before likely taking a spot in the Division II quarterfinals.
