Scotland“The Continuing Legacy of Woody Guthrie” is the theme of this year’s Celtic Connections music festival in Glasgow, which runs through Feb. 5. Guthrie’s granddaughter, Sarah Lee Guthrie, will join others for a special “Woody at 100” performance. Popular musicians such as Dónal Lunny, Liam O’Flynn, Andy Irvine and Paddy Glackin, and other folk, world and fusion musicians, will perform. Special guests include Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Bruce Hornsby, Béla Fleck and the Average White Band. A “Bring It All Home” concert will pay tribute to Scottish musician Gerry Rafferty, who died last year. Go to www.celticconnections.com.
