Ansbach placed four members on the All-Europe Cheer team -- two on the first squad and two on the second -- the most of any team. Heidelberg, which won the Division I team championship, Rota, the D-III winners, and Bitburg each had three. (Michael Abrams/Stars and Stripes)
A panel of DODDS-Europe coaches and educators have selected 20 cheeerleaders to two All-Europe squads.
The panel consisted of Karen Seadore, DODDS-Europe’s athletic administrator, Ruthann Bloyd of Rota, Debera Hipes of Kaiserslautern, Leslie Atkins of Wiesbaden, Kate Vitulli of Naples, and Penny DeFraties of DODDS.
