Regarding “Best scanner technology held back over privacy concerns” (article, Dec. 30), about full-body scanners in airports: I think the reporters went a little too far in the name of full disclosure.

Publishing the locations that use the scanners was a courtesy to any prospective terrorists intent on bringing violence to America.

I myself am willing to sacrifice a little more privacy for the sake of increased safety.
