The Army and Air Force Exchange Service can no longer claim "We go where you go."

Closing the Vogelweh/Kaiserslautern [Germany] AAFES leaves a vast community of Army and Air Force personnel and their families without access to a post exchange without a long drive — if they have a vehicle — or much longer trip otherwise.

The new Ramstein facility is nice, but it’s not where a lot of us are. The Vogelweh/Kaiserslautern military community is a large, unsupported population with no recourse.

Thankfully, the Defense Commissary Agency really does go where we go, so we have food.
