Concerning "A new concept for Cheney" (letter, Dec. 4): Hopefully, equal time will be granted.

Here we go: Conservatives believe in conservative policy, just like the letter writer believes in liberalism. Just as he can relay all the problems the U.S. has on former President George W. Bush and former Vice President Dick Cheney, I can counter with: When is President Barack Obama going to deliver on at least one campaign promise? (Heck, we are still in Iraq, gays still can’t serve openly and Gitmo is still open.)

So, what change has occurred? That was his main theme during the election. Frankly, I have seen none.
