Congratulations, Stars and Stripes. I was pleasantly surprised to read about the DODDS-Europe Division I championship football game in Sunday’s Stars and Stripes. Good job!

Normally we have to wait until the Monday edition, since the Division I game doesn’t finish until after the normal press time for the Sunday papers.

Congratulations to American Forces Network for covering all three games with radio, streaming video and TV.

This is one year I could stay home and watch the game on the Pentagon Channel in the comfort of my living room.

My son, who graduated from Ramstein High School in 2007 and wore No. 7, enjoyed being a part of the victorious 2007 Ramstein football team; he watched this year’s game on his computer from Sacramento, Calif.
