Every now and then you come across genuine heroes, ordinary people who do exactly what is necessary to make a real difference in this world. A few weeks ago in Naples, Italy, a (young) man had a heart attack and fell over at his desk while at work. He was lucky enough to have two people present who not only knew what to do, but acted on their training and saved a shipmate’s life. Those are powerful words. They saved a man’s life.
I refrain from using their names only because neither seeks recognition. However, both deserve to know there are a lot of us who are very proud of what they did. Bravo Zulu, gentlemen! The difference between "knowing and doing," as opposed to simply "knowing," mattered.
