OTTERBERG, Germany — About two dozen soldiers, some with spouses, from various Warrior Transition Units around Europe gathered at Diana’s Horsefarm on Aug. 23, 2013, in Otterberg, to relax and have a good time.
“I invite them so they can have fun and relax and feel at home,” said Diana Lentz, the owner of Diana’s Horsefarm.
With the help of local sponsors, Lentz is able to provide food for the Wounded Warriors who drove from Vilseck, Baumholder, Kaiserslautern and one group even made the trip form Vicenza, Italy.
“I don’t have much, but this little thing that I have, I can make people happy,” Lentz said. “This is what I can give back.”
