The Force Modernization Road Show will begin an eight-day tour of U.S. military bases in South Korea on Monday.
The show features demonstrations of military weapons and equipment, including body armor, infrared markers and optic sights. Some of the equipment has not yet been introduced to the U.S. military.
The show will include mockups and nonfunctioning versions of the XM25 25 mm air burst weapon, XM312 .50-caliber machine gun, XM320 grenade launcher, XM110 semi-automatic sniper system, M-16 rifles and M-249 automatic weapons with a variety of upgrades, and scopes and sights.
The Force Modernization Road Show is scheduled to stop at bases from July 30 to Aug. 7:
