Reynolds, 26, with the 464th Military Police Platoon at U.S. Army Garrison Vicenza, was killed about 3:30 a.m. Saturday. He was riding a Honda motorcycle when he hit the back of a truck, a base spokesman said. As he lay in the roadway, he was struck by a car.

A memorial service was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the chapel on Caserme Ederle.

Reynolds, the married father of two, was from Sebring, Fla.
