U.S. Air Forces in Europe officials have announced the 2002 Financial Management and Comptroller Award winners.
All winners will now compete at the Air Force level.
Installation-level winners are:

¶ Financial Management and Comptroller of the Year: Lt. Col. John Pletcher, 31st CPTS, Aviano Air Base, Italy.
¶ Financial Analysis Office of the Year: 86th CPTS.
¶ Financial Analysis Officer of the Year: Capt. Frank Verdugo, 31st CPTS.
¶ Financial Analysis Civilian of the Year (GS-10 and below): Elizabeth Autrey, 31st CPTS.
¶ Financial Analysis Civilian of the Year (GS-11 and above): Danila Gregoris, 31st CPTS.
¶ Financial Services Office of the Year: 31st CPTS.
¶ Financial Services Officer of the Year: Capt. Emil Gawaran, 86th CPTS.
¶ Financial Services Civilian of the Year (GS-10 and below): Karl-Heinz Abramowski, 52nd CPTS, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.
¶ Financial Services Nonappropriated Funds Financial Analysis Civilian of the Year: Tony Wright, 100th CPTS, RAF Mildenhall, England.
¶ Financial Management Superintendent of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Lyle Brown, 52nd CPTS.
¶ Financial Management Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year: Master Sgt. Josie King, 100th CPTS.
¶ Financial Management Noncommissioned Officer of the Year: Staff Sgt. Jason Schenck, 852nd Munitions Support Squadron, Buechel Air Base, Germany.
¶ Financial Management Airman of the Year: Airman 1st Class Jennell Chalk, 31st CPTS.
¶ Resource Adviser of the Year: Genevieve Henderson, 39th Mission Support Group, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.
¶ Quality Assurance Manager of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Tonya Westerman, 100th CPTS.
