The following 14,235 U.S. Air Force senior airmen have been selected for promotion to the rank of staff sergeant as of September 1, 2019, in the 19E5 promotion cycle.

According to an Air Force press release there were 29,179 eligible, a selection rate of 48.79 percent. "Selectees’ average time in grade was 1.60 years and time in service was 4.07 years," the release stated. "The average selectee overall score was 345.67, based on point averages of 210.75 for enlisted performance reports, 0.73 for decorations, 66.97 for the promotion fitness examination and 66.43 for the specialty knowledge test."
