The following 518 U.S. Air Force senior master sergeants have been selected for promotion to chief master sergeant in the 20E9 promotion cycle.

The list includes Senior Master Sgts. Jeramey Conley and Kevin Ryan, the first two U.S. Space Force members promoted through an enlisted promotion board. (Others have been selected from a previous board while still in the Air Force, but not promoted until after their transfer to the Space Force.)

According to an Air Force press release, there were 2,763 eligible, for a selection rate of 18.75%. "The average overall score for those selected was 393.23. Selectees’ average time in grade was 2.84 years and time in service was 20.80 years," the release said.
