The following 479 U.S. Air Force senior master sergeants have been selected for promotion to the rank of chief master sergeant in the 18E9 promotion cycle.

According to an Air Force press release, there were 2,241 airmen eligible for promotion, a selection rate of 21.37. "The average overall score for those selected was 494.05," the release said. "Selectees’ average time in grade was 2.92 years and time in service was 20.91 years. The average decorations score was 24.19 and the average United States Air Force Supervisory Exam score was 74.11. The average board score was 395.75."
