U.S. soldiers in Haiti will collect several special entitlements, including imminent danger pay while deployed, according to the Army. Soldiers will also get hardship duty pay, and soldiers with families will receive an extra $250 per month in separation pay. The deployment will not affect basic allowance for housing.
