Experience is beneficial but not essential when it comes to cheerleading.

That’s the conclusion to be drawn from the selections for the All-Europe cheer team for the winter sports season. Only half of the 12 members selected for the first team are seniors, and half of those on the second team are in their final year of high school. Ten of the 24 members selected are underclassmen.

Three cheerleaders from Division II cheer champion Ansbach head the first team. Two more come from Division I champion Patch, with freshman Isabel Black the lone member from Division III winner Alconbury.
