MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan — Registration for school year 2005-06 is from 7:30 to 10 a.m. May 2 to 5 in Sollars Elementary School’s multipurpose room for all students planning to attend Edgren middle and high schools and Sollars, to include new kindergartners. Registration will be conducted according to students’ last names on the following dates:

A-G, May 2.H-N, May 3.O-T, May 4.U-Z and make-ups, May 5.The sponsor or spouse may register returning students. Required documents are:

Verification of date eligible to return from overseas (DEROS).Updated sponsor’s or spouse’s duty phone, home phone, house number and emergency contact.Current immunization record.Registration packets for new kindergartners may be picked up in Sollars’ main office. Children must be 5 by Oct. 31 to enroll in kindergarten. The child’s birth certificate or passport must be presented to verify age. An immunization certificate must be signed by the Immunization Clinic prior to registration, indicating all shots are current. For Dtap and OPV shots, at least one dose given after the fourth birthday is required.
