Show visiting friends and family Europe’s elegant side Saturday with a night of culture in Baden-Baden, Germany, as the city celebrates Philharmonic Park Night starting at 6.

As dusk descends upon this stately spa town, the parks, gardens, fountains and giant trees gracing Lichtentaler Allee will be illuminated in striking colors, creating the perfect backdrop for a stroll, snacking or perhaps a flute of Sekt.

The musical program, titled “Fiesta Latina,” will be performed by the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra at 9 p.m. Entry to the concert is free.

Those wishing to visit special exhibitions at museums along the “Culture Mile” pay 9 euros for a ticket offering entry to four venues: the Museum Frieder Bura, the Staadtliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, The Museum for Kunst und Technik des 19. Jahrhunderts and the Stadtmuseum. There’s no charge for children up to age 10 accompanied by an adult.

Should rain fall Saturday night, the program will be postponed until the following day. If Sunday’s a washout as well, the event will not take place this year.
