Sandals and Beaches Resorts has launched Operation Relax, a program supporting active-duty servicemembers by offering complimentary vacations to troops currently serving in the military.

The campaign, valued at $2 million, backs complimentary four-day, three-night vacations.

Operation Relax will send servicemembers and their family to one of many resorts throughout the Caribbean.

To sign up for Operation Relax, military personnel and their spouses should log on to www.sandals.com or www.beaches.com and turn in a completed application by Aug. 9. Applicants can also call the Operation Relax Application Hotline at 1-800-327-1991, Ext. 4163, and leave a message. An application can be sent by either mail or fax.

Completed applications should be sent, along with photocopies of proper military credentials to: Unique Vacations Inc., c/o Operation Relax, 4950 S.W. 72nd Ave., 2nd Floor, Miami, FL 33155.

Applications are accepted on a first-come basis and will be available until all slots are filled.

Only one trip will be given to a household. Trips will be valid for two years and cannot be resold, transferred or redeemed for cash.
