Army Chaplain (Capt.) Jay West, the new American Forces Network chaplain, will be providing spiritual messages for the “Touch of Grace” radio program on the Power Network beginning Monday.

The short inspirational items will be aired on the “Morning Newswatch” show every weekday at 6:18 and 8:42 a.m.

West arrived at AFN Europe in January and will provide new “Touch of Grace” items in place of repeats from older shows by the previous chaplain, according to Air Force 1st Lt. Jeff Clark, AFN-Europe spokesman.

Clark also said AFN viewers could look for two new programs in the coming weeks to take over Sunday’s “Praise Patrol” program. The new shows will take the morning and evening “Praise Patrol” time slots.
