Wounded warriors at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany spent part of Wednesday afternoon painting masks during an American Red Cross-sponsored program called Healing Arts.

Representatives from the American Red Cross National Headquarters in Washington traveled to five U.S. military installations around Germany to introduce the new Healing Arts program.

The program has been running in the United States, the largest at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
