The 2003 ImageMakers Overseas Regional Photography Exhibit will run through May 11 at the Leighton Barracks’ Cantigny Club in Würzburg, Germany.

The event, sponsored jointly by the Army’s Child and Youth Services and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, will feature photographs by family members from all branches of the military overseas.

Judging of the photos is set for Monday, with the public exhibit beginning at 4 p.m. Wednesday, It will then be open 4-8 p.m. daily until the closing ceremony, which begins at 4 p.m., on May 11.

Winners of the overseas regional competition advance to the national level.

Photography workshops for youth will also be conducted during the exhibit.

“This is just one of the components of a year-round program to give exposure to children involved in art,” according to Brian St. John, education and technology program manager for the Center of Expertise for Youth Programs, Army Child and Youth Services.

“There are also field trips to museums and galleries and activities to pick up fine arts and photography skills.”
