YONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea — Commiskey’s Restaurant will change hours beginning July 6.

The lounge will be closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, and Commiskey’s will close after 2 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. The club will be available for special private functions.

The restaurant will stop offering weekend breakfasts on June 30.

Spouses club set to welcome Sharp’s wifeYONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea — Joanne Sharp, wife of U.S. Forces Korea commander Gen. Walter Sharp, will be welcomed to the Yongsan community with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. June 22 at the Naija Ballroom, Dragon Hill Lodge.

The event is sponsored by the American Forces Spouses’ Club and is open to the community.

Cost is $15, and attire is Sunday dress. RSVP no later than June 18.

Smoke detector inspections beginYONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea — The Yongsan Fire Department will begin inspecting smoke detectors in Army family housing starting June 16 with Itaewon Acres.

Inspections will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
