The Pacific Okinawa Players are accepting scholarship applications from high school seniors planning to pursue higher education in the performing arts. The community theater will award $7,000 in scholarships this year, a news release said.

Student summer program will be offered on GuamThe Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools on Guam will run a free, four-week summer enrichment program beginning June 22 that will focus on math and language arts, according to a news release.

Students and parents must register at their home school by April 21. Classes are limited to space-required students only, meaning those not paying tuition, the release said.
