Marines have until midnight EDT Friday to offer their opinions on designs for a new Marine Corps running suit, the service announced Monday.

Active-duty and Reserve Marines can fill out a survey at www.hsisurveys.com/usmc/ptusurvey.

The move is part of the commandant’s Physical Training Uniform initiative, which included a similar survey in January in which the Corps solicited input for an extra jacket and pants to wear in cold weather.

The new running suit will complement the new physical training uniform, which will be unveiled once competition for the final design has concluded.

Camp Hansen festival set for Saturday, SundayCamp Hansen will open its gates Saturday and Sunday for its annual festival.

The event will be held from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday at the Camp Hansen Parade Deck. Pets, backpacks and alcohol brought from outside will not be allowed.
