CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Marine Corps officers from the Officer Assignments Branch and Personnel Management Division of Headquarters Marine Corps will visit Western Pacific commands from Oct. 14 to Oct. 17.

The visit is to brief all Marine officers on assignment policies and procedures, promotion and retention information and career patterns. Monitors also will be available for one-on-one interviews about careers and future assignments.

All Marine Corps officers are being encouraged to attend one of four Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower and Reserve Affairs briefings. Those seeking individual interviews are encouraged to attend one of the four briefings before their one-on-one sessions.

The briefings schedule:

Camp Courtney Theater, Oct. 14, 7:30 to 9 a.m.Camp Hansen Theater, Oct. 15, 7:30 to 9 a.m.Camp Kinser Tri-Mod Club, Oct. 16, 7:30 to 9 a.m.Marine Corps Air Station Futenma Theater, Oct. 14, 7:30 to 9 a.m. (This briefing is only for officers with an aviation military occupational specialty.)Monitor interviews for ground officers stationed at camps Foster and Butler and MCAS Futenma are to be 8:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 17 at Camp Foster Joint Reception Center, Building 447A.
