OSAN AIR BASE, South Korea — Timothy Erickson has been named the new principal of Osan American High School, the Department of Defense Dependents Schools system announced.

Erickson has worked for DODDS for nearly 22 years, the past two as principal of Aviano Elementary School at Aviano Air Base, Italy.

He’s also been principal at Incirlik Elementary and Middle School; Gaeta Elementary and Middle School and Verona Elementary and Middle School. He also spent three years as assistant principal at Halvorsen-Tunner Elementary and Middle School at Rhein-Main Air Base, Frankfurt, Germany.

His first DODDS assignment was as a sixth-grade teacher at the K-12 unit school in Ulm, Germany.

Erickson holds a graduate degree in school administration from Colorado State University.
