CAMP HANSEN, Okinawa — The Naval Criminal Investigation Service on Okinawa is seeking information concerning the death of a sailor on Camp Hansen early Friday.

Few details of the death of Seaman Adam J. Palecco, a dental technician with the 3rd Force Service Support Group, have been released since his body was found on the base at 12:12 a.m.

The sailor’s age and the circumstances surrounding the discovery of his body have been kept confidential. However, NCIS investigators Saturday asked anyone who may have information related to Palecco’s death to contact the NCIS guaranteed-anonymous tip line at DSN 645-0779 or via e-mail at oki-posse@NCIS.navy.mil.
