ARLINGTON, Va. — A Marine Corps base and a Navy base in Japan are among a number of installations garnering the Navy’s top environmental stewardship awards this year.

Atsugi is the home of Carrier Air Wing 5, the airborne teeth of the Kitty Hawk battle group.
