VICENZA, Italy — A memorial service will be held Thursday, at 4 p.m., at the base chapel for Pvt. Justin L. Russell, who was found dead Monday morning in the Italian town of Malo.

The 19-year-old from Shannon, Miss., was a member of the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment.

The cause of death is under investigation, according to a news release from the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team public affairs office.
