Meet Chip Beck, artist-in-residence at Gettysburg battlefield

GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Chip Beck is the new artist-in-residence at the Gettysburg National Military Park. For one month he gets the opportunity to create art while living on the historic battlefield.

Beck, an award-winning combat artist, is a retired U.S. Navy commander, and one of several military veterans selected for the 2017 Gettysburg National Military Park Artist-in-Residence program.
