WEIDEN, Germany — Germany celebrated the Day of the German Army near the American Grafenwoehr Training Area on Saturday.
The German army displayed vehicles and equipment for both Germans and Americans, and soldiers answered questions about day-to-day life in the German military.
The celebration was a chance for German locals to learn more about their army while American soldiers and their families got a close-up look at the differences between the U.S. military and their host nation’s military.
