WASHINGTON – Defense Secretary Robert Gates says he doesn’t foresee any obstacles in the way of repealing “don’t ask, don’t tell,” according to the Associated Press.

In an interview with the AP, he said if the service chiefs make their recommendations to repeal the law before the end of the month, he will sign off on the repeal, which would be effective as early as September.
