MAINZ-KASTEL, Germany — The Army and Air Force Exchange Service has scheduled a system outage between 10 p.m. Monday and 1 a.m. Tuesday that will prevent motorists in Germany from purchasing fuel at AAFES service stations or at Esso stations with their fuel ration cards.

During that time, the exchange service will also be unable to issue or replace fuel ration cards, perform balance and ration inquiries, or add money to fuel card accounts. The outage is necessary to perform system maintenance and software upgrades.
