It is fast becoming the biggest rivalry in the league. Humphreys beat Seoul American 59-48 last Jan. 8 at Humphreys, then prevailed again 64-63 on Jan. 27 at Falcon Gym before falling 54-50 to the Falcons in the KAIAC Blue final last Feb. 6 at Taejon Christian. Seoul American shot 15-for-21 from the foul line in an 18-point fourth quarter.Players to watch — Both these teams possess plentiful height and play above the rim much of the time. The Falcons bring to the table the Metcalf brothers, 6-foot-6 senior DeAndre (19 points, 16.5 rebounds per game) and 6-7 sophomore Quintin (12.5 ppg., 12.5 rpg.). The two combined for 11 blocks in the Falcons’ 73-35 season-opening win over TCIS. The Blackhawks’ front court averages 6-3½ and is led by 6-5 senior Nate Hellams (13.3 ppg., 13.5 rpg.), while junior Tyrell Alexander (15.5 ppg.) can spread the floor with three-point shooting; he hit five threes in a 54-51 home win win over Seoul Foreign on Dec. 10.
