Fuel sold through the Army and Air Force Exchange Service in Europe will cost a little more per gallon starting Saturday.

The increase is directly related to a similar increase in stateside fuel prices.

Prices for regular gasoline have gone up 1.8 cents a gallon in the States, and prices at AAFES pumps in Germany, Azores, United Kingdom and Turkey will increase that same 1.8 cents, according to an AAFES news release. It’s the sixth straight week that prices have gone up.

Prices for regular unleaded fuel in Germany will cost $2.74 a gallon, while super unleaded in the U.K. will be $2.80 a gallon. Prices have climbed 20 cents a gallon since the beginning of the month.

In the Netherlands, a gallon of super unleaded with be $2.95, which is the lowest that AAFES can sell it, the release stated. Prices in the Netherlands were set at the “floor” selling prices, in which AAFES sells fuel at the price it pays for the fuel plus its distribution costs.
