RHINE-MAIN, Feb. 18 (S&S) — Blond Barbara Ann Scott, queen of the ice rink, stopped here this afternoon on her first visit to the occupation zone since winning the European, Olympic and World women's figure skating championships.

Skating stars from the U.S., Canada and Switzerland accompanied Miss Scott when she stepped off the Norwegian DC3 which is flying the group to Oslo for a special exhibition tomorrow night.

The plane stopped just long enough for the 19-year-old Canadian girl to eat a hamburger and drink a milk shake, and talk to scores of GIs who swarmed the snack bar to catch a glimpse of her.

But she was more interested in her drink than talking about skating.

"I haven't seen a milk shake since leaving home," she said, "it's wonderful."

Somebody asked her about Hollywood. Would she follow Sonja Henie and put her talents on the screen?

"Nothing doing," Barbara answered, "I just don't think I'm the type to go to Hollywood. I just want to be a normal person and settle down."

The Petite Miss Scott, who last week successfully defended her world title in Davos with an amazing display of ballet dancer grace and rhythm, wants to go to college.

"I'd like to take up domestic science at a university in Canada," she told the GIs around her.

After the Oslo show, she is scheduled for exhibitions in the Hague and Paris before leaving Europe for Canada in March.

Skaters in Miss Scott's entourage included the Swiss champion Hans Gerschwiler, U. S. skaters John Lettengarver, Eileen Seigh, and the Kennedy's, Karol and Peter; and Marilyn Take of Canada.

Accompanying the skaters were Miss Scott's mother, her coach, Sheldon Galbraith, her companion, Marge McGuinness, Dr. and Mrs. M. E. Kennedy and Mrs. Seigh.
