Idaho-based F-15s were scheduled to land on Guam this week, part of a summer-long deployment for the 389th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, according to Air Force officials.
The squadron’s deployment includes 340 support personnel who arrived at Andersen Air Force Base last weekend, according to a spokesman at Andersen.
The Mountain Home Air Force Base airmen will be on Guam through August. The deployment is part of a regular Air Force rotation of fighters and tankers to Pacific area bases, a release said.
