Country music singer Chely Wright will entertain troops and their families on a United Service Organizations tour to Turkey and Italy next week.

She will play at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey on Monday, followed by a show in Izmir on Wednesday. Her final performance is scheduled for Wednesday at Aviano Air Base in Italy. All three performances are free and open to military identification card holders.

Wright has been an active supporter of military personnel for years and will be making her fifth USO tour. Among those was the first USO tour to Baghdad in 2003. Her hits include “Single White Female,” “Shut up and Drive,” and “The Bumper of My S.U.V.”

AAFES fuel prices going up slightly in EuropeFuel prices at Army and Air Force Exchange Services stations in Europe will rise slightly for all grades, AAFES announced Thursday.

Starting Saturday, the price of a gallon of super unleaded will rise 6.6 cents a gallon in Germany and the United Kingdom. Super-plus will increase 6 cents in both countries.

Diesel prices are going up 4 cents a gallon in Germany, the U.K. and Turkey. Diesel prices will go up 5.1 cents in the Netherlands.
