KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — Runners of all ages and fitness levels are eligible to compete at the annual U.S. Air Forces in Europe Cross Country Tournament on Oct. 25 at Ramstein High School.

There are three 10-kilometer races for men, three 5-kilometer races for women and one 5-kilometer open run. A one-mile fun run for children 12 and under and a 100-meter fun run for children 5 and under are also planned.

The event is open to all U.S. ID cardholders. Anyone on temporary duty for 30 days or more are also eligible to compete.

The top active-duty male and female finishers may also be invited to participate in the Allied Air Forces North Cross Country Championships Nov. 12-14 in Poznan, Poland.

There is no fee to enter. However, the event is limited to the first 200 to sign up. Registration is under way and deadline is Oct. 24.
