A story Tuesday about new safety initiatives and licensing and training procedures for motorcycle riders in U.S. Air Forces in Europe should have attributed quotes by Col. Scott Adams, USAFE director of safety, to a press release.

Also, Col. Adams said that riding a motorcyle in Europe is different than in the States, and that riders who follow the examples of those more used to local driving conditions put themselves in riskier situations. While locals may drive at an overall faster pace than in the States, that does not mean that faster speeds are more dangerous, he said.
