A Defense Commissary Agency, Europe, road show is offering seafood at up to 49 percent savings and Angus top loin roasts at cost, according to an agency news release.

More than 20,000 pounds of seafood were shipped to Europe for the traveling sale, which will go to eight European commissaries. It began last weekend at Ramstein, Germany, and ends Oct. 18-19 at Aviano, Italy.

Other locations are: Stuttgart, July 5-6; Heidelberg, July 19-20; Grafenwöhr, Aug. 2-3; Wiesbaden Aug. 16-17; and Vogelweh, Aug. 30-31, all in Germany; and RAF Lakenheath, England, Oct. 4-5.

A variety of items not usually carried at commissaries will be sold loose and weighed to order, while others will be sold in preweighed commercial packages. On the menu are king crab legs and claws, slipper lobster tail, tiger shrimp, Atlantic salmon, tilapia and catfish fillets, tuna steak and bay scallops.

Seafood products and Angus top loin roast will be available for tasting at the events, and customers can pick up seafood recipes.
