Colin Quinn, along with fellow comedians Nick DiPaolo and Robert Kelly, are on a United Services Organization/Armed Forces Entertainment tour of military bases in Japan.

After performing at Yokota and Misawa air bases over the weekend, the trio hits Camp Fuji on Monday. They’ll be at Iwakuni Marine Corps Air Station on Tuesday and Sasebo Naval Base on Wednesday, according to Erica L. McClanahan, a spokeswoman for USO corporate operations.

The three comedians were slated to mingle and dine with the troops, tour a variety of job posts, perform impromptu skits and provide comic relief during National Military Appreciation Month.

Hired in 1995 as a writer and actor on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” Quinn anchored the skit, “Weekend Update.” He left the show in 2000, and is presently hosting “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” on Comedy Central.

Nick DiPaolo has appeared on “The Sopranos,” “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Howard Stern Show” and “News Radio.” He earned two Emmy nominations for writing on “The Chris Rock Show.”

Robert Kelly has toured the country, performing at numerous festivals, clubs and colleges. He’s also appeared on television shows, including “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Premium Blend” and “The Carson Daly Show.”
