CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — A memorial service has been scheduled for a former Camp Foster Headquarters and Service Battalion company commander killed in Iraq in early February.

The service for Capt. Sean L. Brock is set for 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Camp Foster Theater.

Brock was killed in action Feb. 2 with the 1st Marine Division in Al Anbar Province. He suffered a fatal shrapnel wound while conducting combat operations against enemy forces, according to the Marine Corps.

Brock is survived by his wife, a U.S. Navy lieutenant assigned to U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa.
