Iraqi police in Fallujah captured three suspected members of a network linked to al-Qaida in Iraq during operations with coalition advisers Friday, officials said.

One suspect is believed to have participated in a recent attack on the Saqlawiyah police station, according to officials with Multi-National Forces-Iraq.

The other suspects are thought to have participated in recording attacks against coalition forces on video and selling them to an Iraqi television station.

The videos are broadcast to support the group’s effort to recruit more insurgents and incite attacks, officials said.
